Public invited to Breckenridge Town Hall Gathering
The Breckenridge Town Council invites its citizens to the State of the Town: a Town Hall Gathering. Complimentary childcare and refreshments will be provided.
The purpose of the evening is for residents to both learn about accomplishments, goals, projects and issues, as well as to interact with the Town Council. To lead off, Council members will reflect on the highlights of 2016 to provide the community updates on the Town's progress.
Next, Council members will host an interactive discussion about Breckenridge’s future. The town hall-style gathering will provide a forum for the public to ask questions and to address other issues or concerns. If anyone has questions or comments prior to this meeting, those can be emailed to Council@TownofBreckenridge.com.
For any citizens unable to attend, the meeting will be streamed via Facebook Live at facebook.com/TownBreckCO. In addition, the session will be available for viewing on SCTV-10 (cable channel), SummitNews.com and TownofBreckenridge.com in early June.
In addition, various departments create annual reports to provide more in-depth insights and updates on their particular areas; these include: State of the Open Space, SustainableBreck, Police Department, Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, and Budget.
