Effective May 1, 2012, the Recreation Department will be using a rolling 9-month booking window for all facilities and fields. This means that beginning May 1, 2012, you can book up to February 1, 2013. At the time of booking you will be required to pay the deposit in full, then the remaining rental fees will be due 30 days before the reserved date. If the final payment deadline is missed, your event will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited.

    If you wish to cancel your reservation, you may do so without a penalty up to 14 days before the reserved date. Within 14 days of your reservation, if you wish to cancel all paid fees will be forfeited. 

    Resident and non-profit rates are available.  Proof of status is required if requesting these rates.

Located four blocks east of Main Street in Breckenridge, at the south end of High Street and adjacent to Breckenridge Elementary School. Carter Park and Pavilion consists of the following facilities and amenities:

Indoor heated gathering area
Gas fireplace
Picnic tables
Large natural gas grill
Patio with views of the Ten Mile Range
Four hard tennis courts
Breckenridge Elementary playground
Youth baseball diamonds (rental available through Summit County Schools)
Public heated restrooms
Sand volleyball courts
Sledding hill (winter)
Recreation field/Carter Park Trail (summer)
Public dog park (fully fenced)
