Have you always wanted to try snowshoeing, but didn't know where to start? Or are you a seasoned snowshoer and want to find some new trails to explore? The Gold Run Nordic Center offers great snowshoe trails, snowshoe rentals and snowshoe tours the whole family can enjoy!

Snowshoe Adventures with a Guide

Let our staff guide you on a snowshoe adventure!  Your guide will inform you about the mining history, wildlife and nature, while you enjoy mountain vistas and scenic mining relics. Special “one on one” tours are offered on a daily basis.  Schedule times are 9:30am & 12:30pm, but we can tailor a snowshoe adventure to your specific needs.  Please call for reservations.  Walk-ins welcome based on availability.  Ages 3 & Up. 

Dry Gulch ($100)

This is a wilderness experience showcasing a renovated mining camp along with open meadows, forests and scenic mountain views of the Ten Mile, Gore and Williams Forks Ranges. Dry Gulch provides the perfect stopping spot for a snack or lunch. 4 hours, $100 for the first person, $85 for each additional person in your party. Price includes trail pass fee. Rentals available for half price.

Jessie Mill Tour ($55)

Jessie Mill Adventure - Family oriented with gentle rolling terrain at an easy pace with information on the Golden Horseshoe mining district as well as area wildlife and flora. 1 1/2 hours, $55 for first person, $40 for each additional person in your party.   Price includes trail pass fee. Rentals available for half price.

Overlook Adventure ($75) 

Overlook Adventure - family oriented with a gentle elevation gain of 500 ft. This tour takes you past the Jessie Mill and on to the historic town of Preston. You will see spectacular views of the Ten Mile Range from the Jumbo Mine 2 1/2 hours, $75 for first person, $60 for each additional person in your party.  Price includes trail pass fee. Rentals available for half price.
