IMAGINATION EXPRESS Imagination Express is an affordable family series presented by the Town of Breckenridge featuring a variety of performances highlighting the best in children’s entertainment. These interactive performances can feature everything from live animals to bike stunts to theatre to music. Don't miss out the opportunity to do something the entire family will enjoy. The Riverwalk Center Box Office hours for the 2011 season are Tuesday-Sunday (closed Monday) from noon to 5:00 pm or from noon to one half hour past the beginning of a performance on nights when we have a performance. Tuesday, July 17, 11 am-12 pm Garry Krinsky’s Toying with Science Commissioned and developed with the Museum of Science in Boston, this performance explores, among other things, the scientific principles of gravity, leverage, fulcrums, and simple machines. Combining circus skills, mime, original music, and audience involvement, Garry and his audience investigate basic scientific information and delve into the imagination of scientists who explore our world.
Tuesday, July 24, 11 am-12 pm Steve Songs Steve Songs (Steve Roslonek) has been writing and performing his award-winning music for kids and families for the past eleven years. Steve blends participatory songs, clever stories, and great melodies to create what the Boston Globe called “not just a musical journey, but an entertaining, interactive, and educational one. He cohosts PBS kids as “Mr. Steve,” which features favorites such as Curious George and Clifford the Big Red Dog.
Tuesday, July 31, 11 am-12 pm Top Hogs & the ‘Cast-A-Ways’ Show As seen on the Jay Leno show- a dog, a pig, a cockatoo, once abandoned but now brilliant performers do everything from playing soccer to roller skating to amazing frisbee tricks.
