The Town offers Overnight Parking for guests and residents at SATELLITE PARKING LOT. Overnight parking is limited to 14 days. The cost is $5 per night. Permits for overnight parking in the Satellite Lot may be purchased from the self-service machine 24 hours a day at the entrance to the lot. The machine accepts credit cards only. Parking is $5 a night. Click here for a map. Once you’ve completed the payment, follow the signs to the designated overnight location.
The entrance to the Satellite Lot is located at 1720 Airport Road on the east side of the street. If you are parking a trailer and don't have a dash board you might need to tape your permit to the bumper or another visible location.
Alternative Overnight Parking Location
The Ice Rink Lot has limited availability for overnight parking for passenger vehicles only. Permits for parking in the Ice Rink Lot may be purchased at the self-serve pay machine at the Ice Rink Lot. The machine accepts credit cards for payments 24 hours a day and is located near the entrance of the lot. Please Note: Oversized Vehicles such as RVs and vehicles hauling trailers are not permitted to park at the Ice Rink Lot.
The Ice Rink Lot is located at 189 Boreas Pass Road one block off of Highway 9/Main Street. Maps to the Stephen C. West Ice Arena are available at the Breckenridge Police Department or click here. The lot is patrolled by the Breckenridge Police Department. The Free Ride bus stop is on the north side of the Ice Rink Lot on Boreas Pass Road. The Blue Route returns north into town.
Please Note: All Oversized Vehicles such as RVs and vehicles hauling trailers MUST BE PARKED AT THE SATELLITE LOT.
Rules & Regulations:
Overnight camping or sleeping in vehicles is not permitted.
One permit per vehicle.
Parking is allowed by permit only.
The permit must be purchased in advance for the estimated number of nights the vehicle will be parked.
No refunds will be issued.
Permits must be visible. If the permit is not visible, the vehicle is subject to ticketing and or towing at the owner's expense.
Dumping of refuse or RV holding tanks is not permitted.
These lots are not to be used for long-term storage of private vehicles.
No animals may be left unattended in the lot at any time.
Acceptance of permit relieves the Town of Breckenridge of any responsibility for damages to, or loss of vehicle, it's contents or accessories.
There is a 14 night limit for overnight parking.
Permits must be on display at all times. Vehicles without a permit, expired permit, non-paid permit or altered permit are subject to fines or impoundment at the owner’s cost.
