Who needs a Business License?

Anyone engaging in any business activity, occupation and enterprise in the Town of Breckenridge, including the delivery of goods purchased or contracted for outside Town limits and the rental of accommodation units on a short-term basis, is required to purchase a business license.

What is BOLT?

The Business and Occupational Licenses and Tax (BOLT) was established in 1986 to generate revenue for the purpose of marketing and promoting the town and its environs as a year round resort, and to promote and market activities and events beneficial to the economic vitality of the community.
