All development in the Town of Breckenridge is governed by Title 9, Chapter 1 of the Town Code of Breckenridge. This chapter is also known as the Breckenridge Development Code. If you are interested in applying for a development project, it is very helpful to review our New Construction Packet, which outlines the steps necessary to proceed with your project. If your project is larger than a single family residence, or you need more direction from the planning staff or the Planning Commission, you may wish to apply for a worksession to present your project in a more preliminary form.PLEASE NOTE! As of January 1, 2009, all new development is subject to the Sustainable Building Code.
