Bearly Big Childcare (ages 2 mos. - 6 years)
The Bearly Big Childcare Center is a service intended to provide childcare for Recreation Center guests who would like to use the Breckenridge Recreation Center's facilities and programs (parents must remain on-site). Childcare is provided for children ages 2 months through 6 years of age. Children may participate in Bearly Big for a maximum of two hours, ages 0-1yr for a maximum of 1 hour. Customers must make a reservation by calling the front desk at (970) 453-1734 no later than 8:30am the same day to be guaranteed a spot.
Monday-Friday (8:55am-1:15pm)
Cost: $8/hour, $70 punch cars available for 10 hours

Family Field Time (ages 0-5)
Bring your family on Wednesdays this summer to the Breckenridge Recreation Department's Family Field Time to enjoy playtime! Our inflatable jungle will be set up along with play equipment so kids can have a fun outdoor place to play and socialize! This program is an open play format and no instruction is provided. Parent supervision is required and a Program Instructor will be present if you have any questions or need any assistance. No shoes may be worn on mats or inflatables. Punch cards available!
*if inclement weather, Family Field Time will be cancelled. Call front desk by 9:30am that morning for confirmation.

Climbing
1, 2, 3 Climb (ages 2 & 3)
Bring your toddler in for a fun-filled session of climbing and problem solving! Work on fine and gross motor skills as well as balance and agility through a great blend of climbing and fun games! Mighty Mite Climbers (ages 4 & 5)

Sports
Babies in Motion (ages 0-3)
This new class will help focus on motorskills, social development and movement. Children will listen to a story, sing some songs and have time to play with balls, beanbags, toys and more! Parent participation is required. We will have carpet squares/mats available to sit on, but please bring a blanket as well!

Itsy Bitsy Sports (ages 3-6)
Is your child looking to learn the basics of some sports while improving their hand-eye coordination and flexibility? We'll teach the kids a variety of sports in the exciting, interactive sessions! Sports may include t-ball, soccer, basketball, kickball, field games and many more! We encourage good listening skills and will introduce the children to good sportsmanship. Parent participation is encouraged!

Preschool Tumbling Fridays (ages 3-6)

Tyke Yoga & Play (ages 3-5)
This class will focus on balance, stretching and the child developing body awareness. The children will learn how to focus and calm their bodies through stretching and breathing for the first thirty minutes of this class. Bunny Hop Mountain Bikers (ages 4-6)
Does your child aspire to be a mountain biker like his/her parents or become the first mountain biker in the family?! This class will teach them how and why your bike works, and how to make their bikes do what they want. We will start with simple drills in the parking lot and progress to the pump track. Your bike should be well adjusted and in good working order before you get to the Pump track. Your child must be able to ride their bike without training wheels. A bike helmet and gloves are mandatory. We highly recommend elbow and knee pads. Instruction to include: Body positioning, balance, braking, cornering, rolling over obstacles, wheelies, pumping your bike, pump track etiquette and more!

Preschool Shredders (ages 4-6)
Is your preschooler ready to ride in the skatepark? Let our coaching staff teach him/her the right way to get started. We'll teach all kids the basics of the sport in a fun and controlled environment.
This class will meet at the Skate Park located next to the tennis courts at the Breckenridge Recreation Center. Skateboard and helmet required, knee & elbow pads highly recommended.

Little Picassos (ages 3-6)
