Summit Trail Running Series

The 2010 Summit Trail Running Series consists of 6 trail running races in and around the Breckenridge area. Each race features a short and long course, and all races are open to runners of all abilities and ages. Runners 18 and under race for free (registration and parent/guardian signed waiver is required). Pre-registration and race-day registration are available for each race.

Times:    All races begin at 5:45 pm

June 9 – French Gulch (STRS Map - French Gulch Short Course; STRS Map - French Gulch Long Course)
June 16 – Flumes/Tom’s Baby (STRS Map - Flumes Toms Baby Short Course; STRS Map - Flumes Tom's Baby Long Course)
June 30 – Baker’s Tank (STRS Map - Bakers Tank Short Course; STRS Map - Bakers Tank Long Course)
July 7 – Horseshoe Gulch (STRS Map - Horseshoe Gulch Short Course; STRS Map - Horseshoe Gulch Long Course)
July 21 – Morning Thunder Trail/ South Gondola Parking Lot (STRS Map - Morning Thunder Short Course; STRS Map Morning Thunder Long Course)
August 4 – Carter Park (STRS Map - Carter Park Short Course; STRS Map - Carter Park Long Course)

PLEASE NOTE: In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen trail conditions the race director reserves the right to delay, cancel or reschedule the race. There will be no refunds in the event of a race cancellation.

Series Winners will be awarded at our final race on Wednesday, August 4th at Carter park. To qualify for the series award, participants must have competed in 5 of the 6 races; all in the same category, short or long. We keep track of participants' overall ‘ranking’ in each race amongst the various age groups. We than total your ‘ranking’ numbers and the runners with the lowest average ranking will receive a gift certificate for a pair of NORTH FACE TRAIL RUNNING SHOES!!
