The Town of Breckenridge Releases an Updated Logo
After 16 years, the logo of the Town of Breckenridge got a modern face lift from a local designer.
In February 2017, Council proposed a “refresh” of the Town of Breckenridge’s 2001 logo in favor of a more modernized design that worked with a variety of mediums and social media platforms. David Rossi of Smithwood Drive was hired as the graphic designer on the project. After a presentation on September 26, the Town approved the initial design and work will now begin on developing a media kit and brand standards.
“We wanted to come up with a design that could pivot in all directions. We were looking to develop something that looks official on documents but also contains elements of our character and history. David Rossi did a great job at taking all the opinions involved in the project and developing a logo that is both modern and exciting and received unanimous approval,” comments Haley Littleton, Communications and Marketing Coordinator. “This logo will allow the Town to create a brand identity that is in line with current trends, as well as our mission and vision.” The goal of the logo was to create a clean, easily identifiable image that differentiates the Town from other logos across Breckenridge. “It’s important that residents can easily identify the Town.”
Below you will find the documents presented that outline the process of refreshing the logo.
