A long-time goal of the Town of Breckenridge has been to create a destination resort which is largely free of the automobile. Past studies have consistently cited traffic, parking and transportation as significant negative concerns for quality of life in Breckenridge. The town suffers increasingly from congestion, and despite continued increases in transit use, the Breckenridge Free Ride transit system is not meeting the Town’s desired ridership goals to reduce traffic and vehicle use.
We need your help! As part of the Transit Master Plan effort, the Town of Breckenridge has launched a survey to better understand the current and future needs and opportunities of the transit system. Please take a moment to participate in this very important survey at www.breckfreeride.com. You can also access the survey through the My Free Ride app. The survey is open until May 28, 2019.
