Bomb Threat on S Main Street

Breckenridge, CO: On April 6, 2026, at approximately 1:38 PM, the Breckenridge Police Department responded to an anonymous bomb threat in the area of South Main Street.

Out of an abundance of caution, an evacuation notification was sent out to the community to keep the immediate area of the call clear of bystanders.

After checking the area, it was determined that there was no threat to public safety and the evacuation notice was lifted at 2:01 PM.
