Apply For a Permit
There are two types of permits potentially needed for a project, Development Permits and Building Permits. Permits are required for all new construction, alterations, and remodels. A permit is required for nearly everything except for routine maintenance. For larger projects, new structures, or major remodels, a Development Permit must be submitted first. For smaller projects, that fall under a Class D Minor Development Permit classification, the Development Permit and Building Permit can be submitted together. Not all projects require both a Development Permit and a Building Permit. Please contact us with any questions on permits and permit classifications.
