Please Note: The Town of Breckenridge has established an INDEFINITE MORATORIUM on new licenses. No new license applications will be accepted. For more information, contact the Municipal Services division at (970) 547-3127.

New applicants for Medical Marijuana Center Type 1, Optional Premises Cultivation or Infused Product Manufacturing licenses must contact the State of Colorado for information on obtaining a State License. Please see the Colorado Department of Revenue website for details.

Applications for Town of Breckenridge local licenses will be processed through the Municipal Services department. Applicants are encouraged to be familiar with both Title 4, Chapter 14 of the Breckenridge Town Code as well as the land use district map for potential licensed premises within the Town of Breckenridge Town limits. Please contact the Municipal Services division at (970) 547-3127 or via email to schedule an appointment with a planner to review potential licensed premises locations.

Applicants must understand that, while an application for a local license may be submitted to the Town of Breckenridge, a local license will not be fully approved until the appropriate State license has been issued. There is no guarantee that a local license will be approved, even if a State license has been issued.
