The Breckenridge Recreation Center offers a variety of athletic and community activities including a gymnasium, indoor tennis courts, lap and leisure pools, water slide, racquetball court, basketball courts, indoor rock-climbing wall, an indoor track, weight training and cardio equipment, and aerobic/dance studios.
The Stephen C. West Ice Arena is a year-round enclosed ice complex with an indoor NHL regulation rink and seasonal outdoor rink that also includes full locker rooms, skate rentals, a pro shop, meeting rooms and bleacher seating. Visit for public skating, figure skating, hockey and curling programs, tournaments, and leagues.
The Town of Breckenridge can boast that it is the only municipality in the world to own a Jack Nicklaus designed, 27-hole golf course, anchored by a full-service clubhouse - the Breckenridge Golf Club is a spectacular experience in an extraordinary setting.
The Gold Run Nordic Center is located at the Breckenridge Golf Course and offers 27 kilometers of groomed classic and skate ski trails and over 10 kilometers of snowshoe trails. Ski, snowshoe and fat bike rentals are available, as well as full-service instruction and guided snowshoe tours.
