Energy Smart Colorado is a home energy aassistance program

The Town of Breckenridge has a goal to reach 100% renewable energy for community-wide electricity use by 2035. In order to get there, we encourage residents to become more energy efficient in their own homes. EnergySmart Colorado is your one-stop shop for home energy audits, home energy upgrades, financing and rebates. Our partners at High Country Conservation Center are the local EnergySmart program administrators and will provide coaching on energy conservation measures. They also provide free energy assistance to residents earning 80% Area Median Income or less through the CARE program.
